Royal Academy of Arts, London, 2017
13 June - 20 August 2017
'Journey into Blue' and 'Autumn' were selected to hang in the 2017 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. The artworks are available in limited editions of 7 and 5 respectively.
'Journey into Blue' was hung in the Central Hall, on a wall curated by Royal Academician and artist Bill Jacklin. 'Autumn' was chosen to be exhibited in Gallery IX, curated by Royal Academician and artist Eileen Cooper, in collaboration with Jacklin.
The Summer Exhibition, which has been held continuously since 1769, is the oldest and largest open art exhibition in the world. It includes approximately 600 works in every artistic medium from 12,000 entries submitted in the open process by artists from around the globe. In addition to the open process, there are over 500 works placed by Royal Academicians who are, of course, globally renowned artists.
